6 days of mindfulness
For 6 days, I challenge you to live mindfully, explore, play, to uplevel your existence. Each day will have a specific and individual theme with loose guidance giving you the freedom to create from it as you please. My hope is that by the end of these 6 days you will feel more connected and mindful of your actions and world around you. I am also hopeful that you take a few or all of these practices and apply them to your day to day living.

CHALLENGE BEGINS JANUARY 29th and ends FEBRUARY 3rd, 2018
DAY 1 WAKE + MEDITATE
today we create space to welcome an intentional and mindful week- full of joy, inner peace and loving actions.
find a space where you can sit comfortably, void of distraction, noise or interruption for at least 10 minutes. You can sit on top of a pillow blanket or even a chair.

DAY 2 EXPLORE NATURE
get outside! breathe in the wild air, take your workout outside, your lunch outside, swim in the ocean, lay in the grass, climb a tree, go for a hike!
Spending time in nature is not only wildly enjoyable but ESSENTIAL for the human spirit. Spending quality time in nature (i.e. off of your phone) is great for reducing stress and increasing your connection to self and all that is.

DAY 3 BEND + BREATHE
unlock your energy flows and welcome in expansiveness, presence and awareness
Today is all about bringing your mindfulness practice to your yoga mat and integrating mindfulness with movement. I challenge you to focus more on the inner experience rather than the outward perfections of your asana shapes to truly get in tune with your body and mind.

DAY 4 SEEK INSPIRATION
Inspiration is EVERYWHERE go find it! Is it in a book, podcast, the trees. a seminar, the wisdom of your mother or guru?
Find something that jolts you into a state of inspiration and share the wisdom of your learnings with us!
DAY 5 EXCITE YOUR TASTE BUDS
Is there a new fresh and healthy restaurant you've been meaning to check out? Or a recipe that has been pinned to your Pinterest account for years? Try it out! Today I challenge you to try something new, healthful, colorful and EXCITING maybe even exotic!
And of course SHARE a photo of your delicious and new food experience! How did it taste? How did it make you feel? What does mindful eating mean to you?
DAY 6 EXPRESS GRATITUDE
"a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles"
Having an attitude of gratitude allows us to see all that we have rather than what is not. Today I challenge you to begin a gratitude practice. This could be simply saying the words "thank you" more often. Starting a gratitude journal. Offering a prayer of gratitude.
